Join us for a special Mothers Day celebration at The George Inn where we honour and cherish the incredible mothers in our lives. Our chefs have crafted a unique menu filled with delicious dishes that will make this day unforgettable for the whole family.

Starters:

·       Ultimate Prawn Cocktail – three different sized prawns in a rich cocktail sauce, served on a bed of lettuce and avocado with sour dough crostini’s

·       Sweet Potato, Leek and Rosemary Soup – served with sour dough baguette

·       Crispy Honey and Chilli Fillet of Beef Strips – served on a bed of Asian slaw

·       Salmon and Beetroot Terrine – served with crostini’s

Mains:

·       Roast Turkey and Gammon – served with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, pigs in blanket and a Yorkshire pudding, topped with a turkey stock gravy

·       Lamb Shank – Braised in a red wine, garlic and mixed herbs, served on a bed of mash potato served with carrots and tender stem broccoli

·       Salmon and King Prawn Florentine – served with buttered new potatoes and lemon green beans

·       Apple, Bacon and Garlic Stuffed Pork Loin – served on a bed of creamy mash potatoes served with braised red cabbage and topped with a pork jus

·       Vegetarian Nut Roast – served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and a vegetable stock gravy (Vegan option available on request)

Desserts:

·       Bramley Apple and Rhubarb Crumble – served with Devonshire custard

·       Kentish Gypsy Tart – served with pouring cream#

·       White Chocolate Mousse – topped with a Chantilly cream and raspberry coulis

·       Chocolate Cheesecake – topped with honeycomb and toffee sauce, served with pouring cream
